Rose Petal Luxury Powder

I’ve been using this powder for years, but occasionally am influenced into buying the newest blurring wonder powder. Ben Nye luxury powder, in Rose Petal, works as good and better than the newest pink blurring powders on the market, at a much lower price point.

This product is great! I purchased the .92 oz size last year… At the time of this review, I still have an 1/8th left! Though I would like it more affordable like their classic powders, I do think it is slightly smoother in finish and Rose Petal is the perfect creamy pink finish. I use this to set my face after applying the correct amount of sunscreen. I do not really use makeup, but sunscreen is so oily no matter what country of origin the product is from. With this powder, I am matte for a solid 10 hours before there is breakthrough. I will say that for humid and hot climates, this powder is not as long-lasting. I find that in hot humid days, I get 6 hours of matte before it gets shiny. My skin is more normal, with some minor peeling around my nose and brows. This powder does not accentuate any flakes on my skin, nor does it feel tight and uncomfortable. It is slightly tinted, which makes for a smooth and even finish on the face. I pack the powder on, and it is never cakey! I cannot say this translates the same for makeup, but I recommend this powder for people who want to wear sun protection but cannot stand the oily finish. This or classic is a great, affordable powder compared to what I've used prior. And no flashback!

It doesn’t brighten as much as I’d hoped for and the formula is very dry on my combo skin. I will use up what I have but don’t plan to purchase again.

Hands down best powder ever!

Extremely comfortable on the skin, none cakey around the eyes, very soft and lightweight.
