Dose of Colors Liquid Matte Lipstick - Knock on Wood
I purchased this in an ongoing attempt to replace my previous favorite liquid lipstick, the KVD Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Bow N Arrow. It isn't the right shade match, but it's a nice brown for daily wear. The brand makes no specific claims on longevity, so I had realistic expectations when applying initially. After several uses, I don't consider it long wearing, but it is very comfortable. If you don't have time to reapply, this may be an issue. With most liquid lipstick formulas (after lip liner), the trick is to apply a thin layer, pat that in gently with a brush/fingertip, and allow ample dry time (15+ minutes) before attempting any activity that would cause smudging. If that doesn't work, try applying a thin layer of translucent powder as your final step during application. I'm eager to try more Dose of Colors lip products!
