My top picks this month have a common theme; they're both a great value, and they're long-lasting! The Sydney Grace Cream Shadows are great for my lazy makeup days or for days I want full glam. I can use them alone for a hint of color on my lid or use them with my powder shadows as a base. They are long-wearing and have great color options. My favorite shades are "My Bond" & "Starry Night" because they have a subtle color shift.

My other top pick is a makeup artist favorite, but it's a must-have in your personal routine, too! Mehron Skin Prep Pro is my go-to product when I know I am going to need my makeup to last no matter the situation. It helps your makeup stay on in extreme humidity and extends the wear time. I made sure I used it while getting ready for my wedding last month, and my makeup stayed in place the entire event and beyond! I apply it like a toner to my face, wait five minutes, and then I apply my makeup. It's like a layer of reassurrance my makeup will stay put. I will definitely be using this under my Halloween looks this year, too!

I love this time of the year because special effects take center stage; and in my opinion, the gorier, the better! Ben Nye Fresh Scab adds amazing dimension and the perfect finishing touch to any scar or wound. It has the perfect "chunky" texture and consistency to level up any look. The brownish tint it has makes it look ultra-realistic, as well!

When it comes to creating cuts and wounds or even blending the edges on a prosthetic piece, 3rd Degree Silicone has saved me so many times. There is a translucent formula that allows my cuts to look more life-like, and I can either mix or apply foundation on top to be a perfect match for the skin. This blends like a dream and gives you a little bit of playtime before drying down. I never experience any hard edges while using this, and you do not need to warm up this product to soften it or worry about accidentally breaking apart. It is super stable yet very comfortable and lightweight once it has cured.

Let's talk about makeup artist must-haves. My kit never hurts my back because I believe in multifunctional products. The Danessa Myricks Waterproof Cream Essentials palette is a waterproof cream palette with all your must-have neutral tones. The possibilities and combinations are endless. You can contour, bronze, create custom lip color or eyeshadow, conceal, and highlight. You can carry individual products if you want, but why?

If you haven't tried the Make Up For Ever Artist Color Pencils yet, why not? I promise you'll fall in love. They are your go to for lip liner, eyeliner, can be blended out to be an eye shadow, blush, and even for special effects. Yup! These pencils can do just about anything.

One of my all-time favorite foundations is the Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Moisture Foundation. When applying, it feels so weightless but I love how smooth and versatile the coverage is. I can leave it with minimal coverage and a healthy glow or build up to full coverage with the same weightless feel and long-lasting wear time

To set my foundation, I have been absolutely loving the new Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Matte Setting Powder! It makes such a difference in mattifying and setting my makeup without feeling or looking heavy and dry. It gives the perfect natural matte finish. I lean on the combo/oily side for my skin type, so this has been amazing for keeping my makeup in place and smoothing out pores and imperfections.

In my opinion, some of the best products are ones that are versatile. Right now, I am living for the Rituel de Fille Black Orb Enigmatic Kohl Eyeliner. I love to pair it with the Senna's Winged Liner Brush for a playful liner look. Over the last few weeks, I have also found it creates the perfect smokey eye in conjunction with Senna's Smudger Brush. The formula is a unique cream with depth unlike any other liner I have tried. If you are still looking for the perfect liner or just want something new to try, this might just be what you are looking for.

One of my favorite things to do when it comes to makeup is complexion! I personally love complexion products that have a natural skin finish. Kevyn Aucoin Etherealist Skin Illuminating Foundation and Make Up For Ever Matte Velvet Skin Concealer are a few of my current top faves that gives me the look I desire. The Kevyn Aucoin foundation offers medium to buildable coverage with the perfect touch of radiance. I like how I can adjust how much coverage I am needing based on the imperfections I want to cover.

The Make Up For Ever Concealer has great full coverage! I sometimes even wear this concealer alone when I want to achieve a no-makeup look. It's feels very lightweight and is long-lasting with its water-proof formula.

I have been loving the Embryolisse Hydra-Cream Light moisturizer in my morning routine. It absorbs easily into my skin and feels great under my makeup. It's so lightweight that I don't feel like I have a lot of product on after getting ready for the day, but the hydration it provides keeps my skin looking healthy and glowy well into the night.

I've been constantly reaching for the Kryolan Glamour Glow 8 Color Palette in the shade Bridal. The pigment is phenomenal, and it has the perfect shades for everyday use. From soft petal pinks to bronze tones that warm the complexion, this palette has the perfect shades for so many different skin tones.

My top picks this month are all about self care. After a long day of work, I love to relax and unwind with the Indie Lee I-Recover Mind and Body Gel. It soothes sore muscles like no other and has an aromatherapeutic scent! Some days, I even treat myself to it up to four times a day. It is a bit addicting!

If I am in the mood for a little extra TLC, the Milk + Honey Bath Bombs are the perfect treat. They're gentle on my sensitive skin and are infused with essential oils for a spa-like retreat in the comfort of my home. Plus, they make great gifts.

It takes a lot to impress me because I've worked hard to curate my collection, but these two products really wowed me from day one! The Dose of Colors Stay Glossy Lip Gloss is the best gloss for the price - it's hydrating, feels plush on the lips (instead of sticky), and has a slight marshmallow scent.

Joe Blasco Dermaceal is the complexion product I've been searching for. The phrase "good things come in small packages" definitely applies to this highly pigmented complexion product because I have never found a complexion product that is this pigmented yet is still easy to blend! It covers my stubborn sun spots with ease while still feeling lightweight! I use the shade medium, and I honestly may not need another complexion product thanks to this amazing product.
