While many look forward to gift giving and holiday travel, we get extra excited for the glitz and glam of holiday party looks, New Year's Eve glam (you can find the tutorial here), and the new beauty trends top makeup artists are showing off! We're proud to share the work of four of our favorite makeup artists and their interpretation of what is hot for the winter season!

Sparkling Multichromes by James Molloy

It's no surprise multichromes are still trending this season, as brands like Lethal Cosmetics and Karla Cosmetics continue to create new shades with brilliant colorful shifts! James created this magical look using some of our best sellers from Lethal Cosmetics, Viseart, and more.

Starting with complexion, he primed the skin with Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder (applied with his 0.20 My Flexi Face Brush) before brightening up the undereye area with Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin Enhancer. To add dimension to the face, he applied the deeper shades in the light version of the RCMA Highlight and Contour Palette. After setting the makeup with Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder, he added a pop of blush with the Graftobian Blush Palette in Warm and a radiant glow from the Viseart Highlighting & Sculpting HD Palette.

For the eyes, he paired his MYKITCO Pro My Tiny Angle Brush 1.17 the Senna Brow Book to create feathery looking brows and then created a winged liner look using Lethal Cosmetics SIDE FX Gel Liner in Polarity. Using a fluffy brush, he added Lethal Cosmetics MAGNETIC Pressed Eyeshadow in Genesis, a baby blue pearly multichrome with a pink shift, to the inner half of the eye and Retrograde, a metallic finish that shifts from tan, turquoise, blue, violet to red, to the other half of the lid. For extra brilliance, he lined the lower lash line with Exosphere.

He finished the look with neutral pink lips using Lethal Cosmetics SPIRE Lipstick in the shade Send Nudes.

PRO Tip: To apply a highly pigmented blush or highlighter, use the MYKITCO My Blush and Polisher Brush 0.24 to easily and evenly diffuse the pigments onto the skin.
