If you've used any creme fard product from MaqPro, you know that the color is packed to punch. These palettes are the ultimate space-saver for your kit, and afford you the luxury of having twice the color possibilities in a fraction of the space.
What makes MaqPro unique? To start, every product is manufactured entirely in France, with only the highest quality French components to earn the coveted "Origine France Garantie" label - French origin certified. Each carefully crafted fard creme color is made with only the best and most natural waxes for a staying power of up to 12 hours. The smooth formula is concentrated in pigment and creamy to the touch, also making it ideal for pairing with a moisturizer, primer, or thinner of your choice for achieving sheer coverage. This is not your average makeup; feel none of the constraints of pre-mixed, pre-blended colors and enchant your will to create. MaqPro boasts international market exclusivity with this method of color creation, allowing the artist the freedom to customize foundation, concealer, corrector, neutralizer, contour shades, lip, cheek and eye colors limitlessly. MaqPro is family-owned and operated, and continues to abide by the same product quality, traditional method of production, constant creativity and team spirit that brought them into the industry years ago.
*Cream cosmetics often "sweat" and form small beads of moisture on the surface. This is normal and does not in any way affect the quality of the product. New fard cremes may appear to have "color dots" on the surface of the product, which easily wipe away and do not affect the color.

I'm only giving this 3 stars because I haven't figured it out yet. I haven't really found any helpful instructions on how to use this on YouTube and because I'm still new to doing my makeup, I'm not sure where to start yet, but I think it has potential.

Try dispensing a small amount of the shades from the palette that you require onto the back of your hand. Blend your shades on your hand if necessary, allowing your body heat to warm the product up first. It becomes creamier & much easier to work with. THEN apply. I've found that going straight from the palette to your face doesn't work well at all.
In addition, use the right moisturizer/base product under this foundation otherwise you're setting yourself up for guaranteed failure. It's a castor oil & wax based product, so it stands to reason that water based or silicone based products just aren't going to work very well under this foundation. I use an oil based moisturizer, even though my skin is oily, & give it a few minutes to settle into my skin. I then blot any excess oil from my face using a tissue (including from around my eyes) & then apply my foundation. Once again, let set for a few minutes, another quick blend & blot, and then set with powder. This also prevents creasing around fine lines, furrows or plain old wrinkles.
I also can't see how a damp beauty blender would work with this unless you dampened it with either the Maq Pro mixer (also a great product that's very light on the skin) or an oil based moisturizer first. I definitely wouldn't be using water on my sponges or brushes with this foundation. Doesn't make sense.
As far as setting this foundation goes, Kett Set powder & Graftobian's Luxe Cashmere HD powder in Banana Cream Pie both work very well, especially for - but not limited to - those with oily skin. Both are far more effective at keeping oil at bay, both prevent creasing if you follow the above steps, & both give a much smoother, even finish (even around the eyes) than Ben Nye's banana powder, which I find badly cakes up on the skin & clings to any dry patches due to the enormous amount of corn starch in it *bleh*

Good investment! it melts to your face, feels light, and great full coverage. (you can sheer it out with MaqPro mixer)
Awesome for dry, and mature skin. May be used on oily skin, but you will need to use it with Mehron skin prep, oil control setting spray, and setting powder.

I have tried everything, all high end foundations, and NOTHING
compares to this pallette. I mix many of the colors together instead of just thinking one shade and the results are fabulous. So natural.
I am 60 years old and this foundation is not aging at all!!!!!
I will never use another foundation again!

After trying a few brands from CRC. I tried this on in Caucasian 1. It is such an amazing palette! The tones and shades give you a ability to create your own shades. The darkest shade is gorgeous for contouring. I apply this with a Sigma F80 once you get use to working in the product it gives the best results to achieve the best finish, simply melding it into the skin. I use a beauty blender with my highlighting and contouring. I highly recommend this for dry skin individuals.

I originally bought the Caucasian palette but found I hardly reached for it because the lightest shades were way too dark for my common clients in Australia, I just purchased the Asian 2 palette and I am in LOVE! I wouldn't recommend for super oily skins however skin that is normal to dry or very dry simply glows with this foundation.
It takes a little working in (I recommend applying with the damp black beauty blender) but the coverage is amazing, the asian 2 palette can be used as both correctors and foundations with a good mix or yellow, orange beige and pink shades!
This also looks absolutely amazing on HD camera, great for TV and photography!

Well, I have to amend my original review unfortunately. It seems that this product makes me break out. Tiny little bumps (milia) everywhere. (And I never break out) I was so wanting to find my hg foundation that I didn't pay much attention at first, but it is definitely this product. Sigh. Too bad. I didn't see any info anywhere on whether this product is non-comedogenic. The only other foundation that made me break out like this was Temptu (airbrush foundation).

Wonderful product. Everything I need for highlighting, base foundation, contouring. I really like how I can customize the color to match my skin tone exactly, as this is usually quite a challenge for me in a pre-mixed foundation. I thought about buying the makeup mixer but glad I didn't as I didn't need it to mix the shades, they mix quite easily with a palette knife. Melts into your skin, very natural look. Love it. It is also long wearing on my medium/dry skin. I've found the best way to blend it is to put some on the areas on my face in almost a war paint type pattern so my skin will warm up the product, then after a moment, buff into the skin with my brush (maybe I won't need to do this in the summer when temps are warmer, this could possible make the product more pliable) The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that it is not quite transfer resistant, i.e., if I scratch my face after a stray hair comes into contact, I can see the smudge and my bare skin underneath. But I like this foundation so much, I am willing to investigate a setting spray or something like that to counteract the problem.

I'm a mixed girl(Turkish, Irish, Mexican and Puerto Rican),so it is very hard to find anything that matches my green undertone and tan-ish skin tone. I either look too peach, pink, orange, yellow, dark or light. I was skeptical seeing the colors on the palette (ethnic palette E3), they look like a quilt of many colors and way too dark!! But don't be fooled, the wax goes on so thin, the color just glazes your skin and gives a glowing effect (when applied correctly). This palette has given me the control to mix and match perfectly! Although, unless you are a MUA, you may have to study up a bit on the color wheel and watch a few videos on YouTube under MaqPro to get the hang of it. The thinnest application looks best. I also have very sensitive/oily skin and live in a humid area which is a disaster for makeup. The wax base stays put and does not irritate my skin at all. It honestly feels like nothing and looks(texture-wise)like my own skin, only better. I love it. The only suggestion I would make is to give out a small instruction booklet on correct application and color choice. I wasted a lot of product in the beginning trying to figure it out. Also for oily girls like me, the mixer is not necessary (it only makes you look greasy). This palette is my perfect foundation. I'm glad to know this company has been in business for a long time as I hope to be using this for the rest of my "makeup" life!!! One last tip, don't powder right away. Let it sit for twenty minutes or so (longer if possible), blend a bit more, then powder. You will get the most beautiful finish!

I got the Ethnic Skin palette and Dark Skin 1 palette and I love them! The yellow is amazing as a highlighter for brown skin and the orange works to cover up darkness around the mouth. Very little goes a long way and it blends beautifully when it is buffed into the skin. Be sure to use a compatible moisturizer. At first I was using my favorite water based moisturizers and the foundation slipped around everywhere. Switched to a glycerin base and things worked perfectly. Also, the product does have a slight flowery (?) smell. Not overwhelming, but definitely there.

I was not accustomed to such a consistency of tonal framework - I always preferred liquid - water-based or silicone. But it just fascinated me: a beautiful finish - not dull, but without the explicit gloss is very natural on the skin. The product is perfectly pigmented and easily covers everything you need to hide. I recommend to all who doubt - must try!

My first attempt at application with this product was a disaster...But with perserverence -i now wear this every day and the compliments i receive are astounding. I read several reviews on the web touting it as a wax base, so imagined it would blend (melt) into my oily tzone..but i find its texture more like a pancake powdery and creme blend if that makes sense. It is very reactive to heat, so blend blend blend, and the flawless finish will thank you! I finish with a ben nye banana powder and my canvas is prepped to go. Excellent palette for contouring and concealing. My skin is D5 Kryolan. -E3 Ethnic in Maqpro is a perfect match. LOVE IT!!

The best foundation I've ever used. When used with a damp beauty sponge it feels like have nothing on but the coverage is perfect.

I bought these back in November and I have to say I use my pallet every single day! Even if I don't use it as a full face foundation I find that the peachy color in my Ethnic pallet is just about the only thing that covers my dark circles! I have used the other more yellow tone on my whole face and I like the way it brightens up my complexion without looking cakey or shiny. It's perfect for those who like dewy skin but dont want to look like disco balls in pictures! It's also good for those who like a more matte finish it all depends on how you set the foundation. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I've tried to use the bright orange color that came in my pallet but I cant seem to find a use for it.

I didn't encounter the issue of blendability. The product applies smooth on my skin ( I have combination skin) and the coverage is buildable. Mt tips is if you have dry skin, make sure you have your skin well moisturized, or simply prime your face first with a water-based primer, before you apply the foundation. It helps the product to blend better.

This product contours like a dream, perfect for recreating supermodel cheekbones and thinning the nose, just apply it with a small brush and blend it with your fingers, the only down side is it takes a lot of work to get a decent amount of coverage but it feels amazing on the skin, I would probably only use this on a client that already has good skin, Great product & great price!

If you're a make-up artist then these very sleek, lightweight and versatile palettes from Maq Pro are sure to come in handy.
The palette is flat packed and features six wax based colours that provide a very natural make-up finish which doesn't sit on the surface of the skin. The formula has light-reflecting qualities and leaves a nice glowy sheen to the skin. Four of the shades work well as all over foundation bases, with the darkest colour coming in handy for the purpose of shading. The lightest shade is great for highlighting or mixing into the darker colours for a lighter effect.

this product is amazing, i tested it on myself (dry skin) and on some of my clients with combination and oily skin. This product applies on great and lasts for hours but i did not give it 5 stars because it did not cover as much as i would of liked on my client who needed a little more coverage. This could be because i am not use to a wax base foundation and just need to add a little more effort to the application. But overall its great!

After over a year of hunting like a crazy person for the perfect foundation, I have found IT! I've had this on my face now for 13 hours & have not had to blot or powder my face even once. This, with OILY SKIN! I powdered once after application to set & that's it. This product applies beautifully with my stippling brushes, with fingers, or with a non latex sponge. Im able to obtain the perfect color for my skin tone, conceal under my eyes, conceal blemishes AND contour & brighten my face all with this one palette. All this with a ridiculously small amount of product & no primer. It's totally natural looking, obscures pores & leaves the skin looking very smooth. I have far from perfect skin, so this is amazing. And absolutely no oil breakthrough! This palette covers all of my needs without requiring other products to get the perfect canvas. I thought Mehron was the one for me, but I was very wrong. I still got a great deal of shine with Mehron, even an hour after application. This palette would suit a variety of skin tones, from the lightest to quite tanned. The amount of product you receive is also just crazy for the price you pay. This will last me well over a year & a half, and then some. I've been getting compliments on my skin all day, which never happens. Best foundation I've used in my life, hands down! My search for the perfect foundation has officially ended! WOOT!!
