I’ve tried so many foundations and didn’t realize how mediocre they really were until I tried Koh Gen Do. I have big pores, acne scars, dark spots. First, I wish we got a little more of a sample for $7 or so. That disappointed me.
The only thing I would change about this foundation is it to be more fuller coverage. It’s very light coverage. The positives- It blurs the pores and gives the most beautiful glow and skin looks absolutely smooth. Especially when powder is used over it. And I used Anastasia translucent powder. And for me to love this foundation and it look this great on my skin, it must be some good stuff

The finish was nice but a little sheer for my tastes. The color was almost spot on for me which never happens because I’m light olive yellow and slightly cool.
I bought a sample of this foundation and it is unreal—easy to apply, blends like a dream and just looks amazing on the skin. It photographs beautifully and lasts a fairly long time. I wear shade 023, which is not ideal but it’s the closest to natural I could get. (KGD needs to step it up when it comes to the shade selection.) This foundation is also fragrance free, which I love and is best applied not with a brush or sponge, but with the fingers. Go figure? It honestly looks the best that way—you sort of pat it into your skin. It leaves a satin, almost dewy finish but doesn’t leave your face feeling tacky. I also don’t powder over it. If it weren’t so ridiculously expensive I might, just might, purchase it. It has definitely give my GA Luminous Silk a run for its money.
I liked this foundation. I have no complaints about it only I find it is expensive and there are other foundations better or just as good selling for a better price
