How do I care for my Z Palette?
The Z Palette is a durable palette designed to protect your makeup from the elements, but these tips will increase the longevity of your palette and makeup. Keep it dry. Do not throw or drop it. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of it. Treat with care.
Why won’t my pans stick to my Z Palette?
The base of the Z Palette is magnetic which creates a strong nonpermanent hold with your makeup pans. However, some makeup brands use non-magnetic pans such as aluminum. This is why we include in every Z Palette a packet of magnetic stickers that you can attach to your non-magnetic makeup. If you still need more stickers or magnetic pans, we sell individual packs as well. Here at Z Palette, we’ve got you covered.
I didn’t use a Z Potter to depot and my shadows broke. What do I do?
When you aren’t using the proper tools such as the Z Potter and De-potting Spatula, even the best of them will crack a shadow now and again. Fear not, your shadow is not doomed. To repair a broken shadow, use a dropper to put small amounts of rubbing alcohol along the crack(s). Then you put a paper towel or thin fabric over the shadow and press down firmly with a smooth tool, such as a spoon, piece of cardboard, another pan, anything but your fingers. Remove the towel and let dry overnight. Your shadow is good as new!
