From the stage to your everyday look, this cake foundation is also an outstanding candidate for body makeup and large cast ensembles, such as opera, ballet, choir, or musical theater. Simply apply in sections and then buff into a translucent, natural finish. Resists heat and perspiration!

Cake Foundation

Your cake foundation is good, but I can't seem to ffind the right color. I have tried five colors and still can't get it right. The color closest to my skin color is Pc36-cine light tan. I really need a shade with less peach, less pink. My old color years ago was Max Factor Tan., No. 1. I need your color with a little more gray in it. Am thinking of trying Cine Fair PC32. Please advise thru email.

Very good product

I always used Max Factor Pancake #2. It has been discontinued for quite some time so I have been using a liquid foundation instead. I started using the Ben Nye Cake Foundation and it is so close to the Max Factor. I am so pleased I found this product.

Good Water Based Foundation

This product is a reasonable replacement for MAX Factor's, now discontinued, Pancake makeup. This color I prefer is called "Death Flesh" as it is the closest match to MAX Factor's "Tan No. 1 Cool 5" that I have found.

Almost Max Factor pancake makeup!

I have been looking for a make up to replace my Max Factor pancake makeup but was still trying to use the tiny bit I had left. Recently Googled- again - and customers were referring to the Ben Nye so I figured I'd give it a try. There was a little bit of a learning curve getting used to it as it went on a lot thicker but got it figured out quickly. I had used the MF natural #2 and this appeared a little darker but decided to get it. I would say it is a tiny bit darker but not much so it's working out great!
