I love matte blush and these blushes are lovely and blend nicely. It’s a great price for the quality and I like the refill pans to fill and personalize my own empty palette. It’s a little hard to choose shades online (I really wish they had arm swatches!) but I got Nectar Peach, Victorian Rose, Vintage Rose and also the Contour 1 powder. They don’t seem to have a mid-tone plummy pink, unfortunately (I’m looking for a Tarte Blushing Bride dupe). Swatches would be so helpful! Please please please!
Nectar Peach is the beautiful mid-tone warm peach that I was looking for (med-tan skin tone), but I think it’s a nice peachy tone that can work for a lot of skin tones without being too bright or orange.
Victorian Rose to me is a medium-dark reddish pink, it gives a nice looking flush on the cheeks. I think it’s probably best on tan to deeper skin tones as it’s pigmented though.
Vintage Rose is like a lighter and smidge more pink version of Peach Nectar, in my opinion. It’s good for when I want a light nude blush and don’t want a lot of pigment, but I’d say it’s a nice peachy pink nude for a more medium to light/fair skin tone.
Contour 1 is a very pigmented, cool-toned, taupe brown contour powder. I use a fluffier type of brush with this to blend; definitely use a lighter hand. It looks so good if you really marry your blush/bronzer into it. If I go too heavy it can look like a stark, gray stripe on me since I’m very warm toned though.
