Really pretty

This stuff is really pretty as a finishing powder. It's very sparkly though - it ultimately appears subtle to anyone who is looking at you but if you're like me and like to look at your makeup close up, you will see the sparkle.

the highlighter I've been searching for

I have fair warm olive skin (NC10) bought samples of this Over Powder this in shades pearl and warm gold. Pearl looks silvery in the container, but rather than clashing with the warm tones in my skin, it pops just enough to give a subtle, natural glow. Unlike the strobing trend that's become popular, this is extremely natural looking and disappears into the skin to provide subtle luminosity. It can be built up to for a more obvious highlight or dusted lightly all over the face to liven up a matte foundation. I have rosacea and some light acne scarring, and this powder itself doesn't exaggerate any of that (in either shade).

The warm gold shade was also beautiful and showed up as a true yellow gold without looking green or brassy as some golds can. I thought the gold pigment was more distinctly visible than the pearl shade, which is undetectable on my skin color-wise, though it still yields a natural, lit-from-within look. Gold tends to disappear on my skin tone, but this still showed up pretty well. I only ended up purchasing the pearl shade, but only out of personal color preference. It's a lovely product that can be worn subtly or built up for a strong gilded highlight.
