Return Policy

1. U.S. Returns

We understand there may be times that a product does not work for you, and we want you to be satisfied with your purchase.  We accept returns for new products within 30 days of receiving your order.  These new, unopened products are eligible for a refund or a gift card.  We also accept opened, gently used, tested, or swatched products as returns within 30 days of receiving your order. These used products are only eligible for a gift card you can use on a future purchase. Refunds are not available on these items.

All samples, makeup lights, makeup cases, makeup chairs, and sales merchandise are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. Shipping on your original order is non-refundable.

If you receive an incorrect product or a damaged item in your package, please reach out to our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving your package. We will send you a return label to quickly resolve this for you.  We do not offer refunds on damaged items; we will, however, make sure you get what you ordered in excellent condition.

If you wish to process an exchange, we will email you a gift card upon receipt and processing of your return in our warehouse.  You may then place a new order with the gift card when you are ready. All returns must be received within 30 days of receipt. Please note: you may incur additional shipping charges during an exchange.

To Mail Your Return:

1. If you are located in the United States, click the link to our Return Portal and follow the prompts.  Please reach out to [email protected] or (214) 302-0290 for assistance with an international return.

2. Return items in the original packing and pack items carefully.

3. Please include the order invoice number on the outside of your package so we may properly credit your account.

4. Return labels are provided on our Return portal. If you choose to use the provided label, $5.99 will be removed from the return amount at the time of processing.  You may choose to use a different method of shipping to avoid this fee. If you choose an alternative shipping method, we recommend delivery confirmation to ensure the item reaches us.

5. Returns are processed in the order they are received.  Please allow up to 7 business days for your return to be processed once it arrives in our warehouse.  We will contact you once it is complete.

2. International Returns Non-EU/EEA

Camera Ready Cosmetics does not provide international return labels. In the event you would like to make a return or exchange and reside outside of the US, you are responsible for the shipping cost both ways.

The section below applies only to consumers located in the European Union or European Economic Area. If you are located in the United States or outside the EU/EEA, please refer to the return policy sections above.

 

3. EU Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you may have a legal right under applicable EU/EEA consumer protection law, including rules based on Directive 2011/83/EU, to withdraw from your online purchase of eligible products within 14 days of the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier, physically receive your order, without giving any reason.

For orders containing multiple items delivered separately, the 14-day withdrawal period begins on the day you receive the last item.

How to Submit a Withdrawal Notice

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision before the 14-day withdrawal period expires. You may do this by:

You do not need to use our form. Any clear written notice submitted within the withdrawal period is sufficient, as long as it identifies your order and your decision to withdraw. Please include your name, order number, email address, and the item(s) you wish to withdraw.

We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal notice promptly by email.

For eligible products, a valid withdrawal notice submitted within the withdrawal period exercises your statutory right of withdrawal. We will review the notice to confirm receipt, identify the order and product(s), and determine whether any statutory exclusion applies to the specific product.

Returning Your Order

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date you submitted your withdrawal notice.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, you are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping for eligible EU/EEA withdrawal returns. We recommend using a tracked shipping method, as you remain responsible for the goods until they are received by us.

  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for the direct cost of return shipping.
  • Customs & Documentation: To ensure the shipment is recognized as a return and not a new sale, customers must:  
    • Include the original order # on the outside of the package.      
    • Clearly mark the package as "Return of Merchandise."
  • To avoid unnecessary customs duties or delays, you must include your original order # and clearly label the package as "Return of Merchandise". We are not responsible for tariffs or fees incurred due to inaccurate documentation.

Refunds

For eligible EU/EEA withdrawal returns, we will refund the purchase price of the returned goods, including the cost of standard delivery charged at the time of purchase. If you selected a premium or expedited shipping option, we will refund only the equivalent of our standard delivery rate.

We will issue your refund using the same payment method used for your original purchase, unless otherwise agreed, and at no extra charge to you.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you provide proof that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

We may reduce your refund to reflect any diminished value of the returned goods where that diminished value results from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Products That May Be Excluded

Certain products may be excluded from the EU/EEA right of withdrawal. This includes sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, where the hygiene seal, safety seal, protective seal, or tamper-evident packaging has been broken or removed after delivery.

Because we sell cosmetics, skincare, lashes, adhesives, hair care, and other hygiene-sensitive products, some items may not be eligible for return once opened or unsealed.

The following may be excluded once their seal has been broken or removed after delivery:

  • Cosmetics and makeup products
  • Skincare and personal-care products
  • Lip, eye, and complexion products
  • Mascara, eyeliner, lip products, and other products applied directly to the face, eyes, or lips
  • False lashes, lash adhesives, and related lash products
  • SFX makeup, adhesives, removers, prosthetics, and related products
  • Hair care and hygiene-sensitive products
  • Brushes, sponges, applicators, and other tools that come into direct contact with the skin, where delivered with a hygiene seal
  • Any product with a hygiene seal, safety seal, protective seal, or tamper-evident packaging that has been opened or removed after delivery

Products that were not delivered with a hygiene seal, safety seal, protective seal, or tamper-evident packaging, or whose seal was not intact upon delivery, are not excluded on hygiene grounds solely because of Article 16(e). 

This section applies only to EU/EEA right-of-withdrawal returns. If you received a defective, damaged, incorrect, or non-conforming item, different rules may apply. Please contact our customer service team as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours of receiving your order, and we will make it right.

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under applicable EU, EEA, or national consumer protection law.
