The Camera Ready team is flooded year round with requests to try new products, up-and-coming brands, and "miracle-working" cult favorites. While we have a blast testing each and every product, the challenge of juggling the hundreds of products that enter our doors can become a little overwhelming.
That's why we have an extra spring in our step come Fall, once Allure releases their Best of Beauty awards. Over a period of several months, the Allure team distributes thousands of beauty products to five-person testing teams around the world and tracks their results. They even take it a step further by consulting shade-swatching panels, contacting cosmetic chemists, estheticians, makeup artists, beauty professionals and more to discover the products they can't live without.
Once their research is complete, Allure announces the winners of their coveted red stamp of approval. And this year, Camera Ready has a record-breaking 12 products featured on the list across all categories - from hair and skincare to makeup and beauty tools. We're excited, honored and rushing to the Camera Ready showroom to add all of these star products to our personal beauty collections!

About Camera Ready Cosmetics
Camera Ready Cosmetics was founded in 2003 by Makeup Artist Mary Erickson. She dreamed of having a pro makeup showroom where artists could play with professional products without the typical makeup store attitude.
Today, our team of beauty industry veterans work together to curate the best quality products on the market. We partner with brands who respect the industry and formulate products for true working artists. You won’t find CRC in high-end malls, and we don't wear matching brush belts.
If you want to play with products for a few hours and buy nothing, that's okay ... come in and play! Our store is your playground.
