March Madness: Lipgloss vs. Lipstick
Are you team lipgloss or team lipstick? That's what we asked our Instagram community, and this matchup was one of the closest of all of the products categories we will be highlighting this week!
Two out of every three people from our Instagram poll said they preferred lipstick, so we asked our four featured makeup artists to select their favorite lipstick and to tell us why they love the formula!
Kristen Baumeister @kristen.b.artistry
One of Kristen's favorite lipsticks is the Allure Best of Beauty 2020 award-winning Kevyn Aucoin Unforgettable Lipstick.
"I really love the colors. They're highly pigmented and don't dry out your lips like some other lipsticks can!"

Leslie Hernandez @leslie_makeup
Leslie's favorite lipstick is Inglot Lipstick Matte. It has nourishing ingredients like Vitamin E, macadamia oil, and avocado oil moisturize and nourish the lips.
"I love the hybrid of the matte finish, without the dryness of the texture. It never feels dry on the lips and glides smoothly. It lasts all day and doesn’t crack during the day. Less touch-ups are needed, and it has highly saturated color."
Marcela Tobar @mtmakeup1
Marcela's favorite lipstick is Cozzette Lip Synergy. This creamy liquid hybrid lipstick is long-wearing, and each shade name honors a woman that inspired Roque Cozzette during his journey through the beauty industry.
"I am all about multi-purpose products, so I love that you can do eyes, lips, and blush with the Lip Synergy."
Sophia Nawabi @makeupandhair_sophianawabi
Sophia's favorite lipstick is RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek. This highly-pigmented formula can be built up for an intense look, and a little goes a long way.
"They are great for fresh dewy finish and can be applied heavily or super light, depending on the look you're going for. They're incredibly versatile, and I even sometimes use them on the eyes for a monochromatic look.
