EBA’s Fuel-Activator effectively activates Encore palettes while containing a reduced amount of alcohol content when compared to standard activators. Its unique formula incorporates alcohol-free ingredients allowing for makeup application in more skin sensitive areas. When compared to alcohol only, Fuel also delivers a slightly longer drying time. Consequently Encore palettes powered by Fuel will require less product for re-activation and provide more “makeup work time” when necessary.

Nice alcohol-alternative for Palettes

The EBA (and other brands) or Alcohol-Activated palettes require 99% alcohol to "activate" the paint. Normally that's my go-to product because it's inexpensive for a large bottle.. but if you're looking for something not quite as strong for your model, the EBA Fuel is a nice alternative. It uses SDA-40B instead, which is a more cosmetic-grade of alcohol (Used in perfumed and airbrush paints). I wish EBA sold these in a larger size as I found myself going through quite a bit. I'd recommend picking up a few (the price is definitely right) to go alongside your 99%
