Lash Line: Apply Caviar Eyeliner Pencil along the upper lash line. Hold the pencil horizontally, keeping the long side of the tip flat against the lid. This makes it easy to see where the line is being placed. Apply in short strokes to keep the application close to the lashes.

Tight Line: Press softly on the eye lid and lift gently back into the eye crease. This will clearly reveal bottom of the lash line. Apply Caviar Eyeliner Pencil in between lashes using a dot and wiggle motion. This creates the look of lush, thick lashes.

Water Line: Apply directly to lower and/or upper waterline.

Pro-tip/Professional Technique:

Lashline Pro Tip: To apply Caviar Eyeliner Pencil as close to lash line as possible, push down on the lashes with the tip of the pencil, then apply along ridge where lid ends and lashes start.

Tight line Pro Tip: If needed, diffuse Caviar Eyeliner Pencil by wiggling Flat Eyeliner Brush in between lashes.

Waterline Pro Tip: For a softer look, line only the upper water line. For maximum definition, line the both upper and lower water lines.

One of the best tight lining eyeliners I've ever used!

As a professional makeup artist I've been on a mission to find the holy grail of eyeliner pencils to use on my clients that doesn't bleed onto the lower lash line when I tight line the eye, can be used on clients that are contact wearers, and last a long time. This liner is IT! It glides on smoothly, doesn't bleed, and doesn't effect contact wearers. I'm so excited I've found this product! I highly recommend!

Much better formula!

This applies so much easier than the old formula. It glides on very easily with no tugging. The color appears to be identical with the old Black Violet, just maybe a slight bit lighter which is better for older eyes. See picture for comparison.

Great shade of brown

I got the Cocoa, which is a reddish brown color. It's very pretty and does well enhancing green eyes. It's very similar to Stila's Smudge Stick in the color Spice, which I also like. Goes on very easily, but it does transfer from the waterline a bit. It also needs to be sharpened frequently. I gave four stars because of the transferring and honestly, I'd rather not have to sharpen a pencil every use.
