I use a lot of fake blood and have gone through almost every brand possible. I don't mind spending a bit more for a higher-quality blood, but I just didn't feel like the Reel Creations blood was worth the premium cost. The Reel Creations blood comes in a range of colors and as always, I recommend the "Aged" (sometimes called "Dark") blood as it looks the most natural and believable in person. A lot of fresh (or "Light" bloods) look very bright red and don't show up as believable. The Reel Creations lung blood in particular was a very light blood. I was interested in trying the Reel "Aged" blood as it is sold at a bit of a premium price. Unfortunately, it just didn't do much for me. The Reel Creations aged blood was a decent color -- in a thicker amount it comes off as a nice dark color but as thinned out or spread on skin it turns much lighter (but maintains a red color while some turn a bright pink or orange). My biggest complaint is that it starts to bead up. It doesn't smear nicely like some other bloods (Mehron), doesn't give a nice hardened/stringy gel texture (Cinema Secrets blood gel) and doesn't fully dry (Fleet Street). I found it comparable to Ben Nye's Dark Stage Blood which has it's uses.. but I prefer Ben Nye for their discounted prices (a 32 oz. jug costs about the same as 8 oz. of the Reel Creations blood). Overall, a bit disappointed but will find a use for it. Not recommended by itself but will compliment other bloods for small detailed work.

Blood worked Ok -- not my top recommendation
